JOLLIA purpose of existence is to leave a positive impact: designing meaningful cardigans, recycling folklore fabrics, repurposing deadstock, and re-imagining traditional hand embroidery. We are on a mission to blend sustainability with our cultural heritage.

At our core we create do-good, feel-good cardigan sweaters and dresses with exclusive designs.
During the global lock-down, Maria, an international marketing executive of Bulgarian origin, turned designer, started designing prints. She founded JOLLIA, inspired by her mom, an accomplished designer of hand embroidered folklore clothing. Today Maria’s daughter is on the girls team and three generations steer JOLLIA forward, blending tradition with innovation.

JOLLIA is based in London and Sofia. In the U.K. we create our designs, in Bulgaria we manufacture and hand pick folklore fabrics. Italy is where we source most of our materials.

While our designs are a modern take on tradition, in our manufacturing techniques we use traditional crafts like crochet, embroidery and a lot of hand work. For us, JOLLIA is a journey of impact, aiming our stories are passed on to the next generations.

Among our values is body positivity for all sizes and genders. Our signature cardigan and folklore skirts flatter all bodies’ shapes, big and tall.
Welcome to JOLLIA! Have fun with us!
